Meet Margaret Boateng, Margaret is the last born of her parents. Unfortunately her father passed when she was young.
Margaret was recruited to be a Girls Education Initiative of Ghana student from Mampongteng R/C in the Ashanti region. She graduated from Wesley Girls' High School in 2024. And now with her hard work and the The Girls Education Initiative of Ghana Margaret arrived in Caldwell University in USA early January 2025 to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree- Pre Med, Pediatric Medicine.

2025 Annual Report
2025, our #nextdecadeofimpact officially began. Amidst international funding cuts and support for non profit organizations and others, GEIG wasn’t exempt. Our recurring donors reduced by 60 percent and with minimal foundation support we reduced our programming budget, but didn’t skimp on quality activities.
2025 Mid Year Report
The first half of 2025 has been a period of growth, impact and renewed commitment for the Girls Education Initiative of Ghana (GEIG). From January to June, GEIG has continued to champion its mission to providing equitable access to education, leadership opportunities and skills development for girls and young women.
2024 Annual Report
In 2014 ,The Girls Education Initiative of Ghana (GEIG),launched its inaugural program, recruiting 14 talented girls from Ashanti and Greater Accra regions as Cohort1. One Notable alumna, Bushira, has excelled academically and is now a valued member of the GEIG team, serving as an Alumni Relations Associate.
