Celebrating Ten Years Of Impact

Girls Education Initiative Ghana (GEIG) was established with a vision to provide quality and inclusive education for all girls in Ghana. Founded in 2014 by Elizabeth Patterson, our nonprofit organization is dedicated to offering access to education, leadership development, mentorship, and professional advancement for girls and young women.

As we celebrate our tenth anniversary, we reflect on our impact and express gratitude for your continued support over the years. We are excited to grow and advance alongside you in the coming years. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

In the Last Ten Years

01

Educational Support

We passionately supported the enrollment and success of 52 girls and young women across basic, junior high, secondary, and tertiary education. By providing a robust foundation, we aim to empower them with the skills and knowledge needed for a bright future.

02

Higher Education Transition

Facilitating a seamless transition, 40 young women have successfully moved from junior high school to higher education. Our commitment extends beyond traditional education, fostering growth and opportunities for these aspiring individuals

03

Global Reach

Operating across 4 countries, spanning 2 regions and 7 districts, our presence is a testament to our commitment to making a widespread impact. We believe in the universality of education and empowerment, reaching diverse communities on a global scale.

04

Leadership Development Initiatives

Offering an array of opportunities, we have conducted 50+ leadership programs, mentoring sessions, and professional Masterclasses. Our focus is not just on education but on nurturing leaders who can drive positive change in their communities and beyond.

05

Community Impact

Our commitment to community impact is evident as we annually reach over 5000 individuals through a variety of programs and activities. By engaging with diverse communities, we strive to create positive change and empowerment for girls and young women.
